Hi everyone,

My name is Mabacus from California, a mother of two boys. I have been looking for what to do from home for the past three years. I came to the United States four years ago. Before my relocation, I owned/personally run a word-processing business outfit. I am proficient with MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, PageMaker and my typing speed is over 85wpm.

Please tell me I fit into this VA opportunity of this cyber age? If I do, where and how do I start? I really need this opportunity to be around for my boys at this critical age of their development and may be go back to school.

I know that everyone on this forum is here to be that guidance angel to the other person. If anyone's got any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them and follow it step be step immediately. I am dying to start something to be able support my kids.

What country are you from. I'm going to the Seychelles for the big 40 next year. I wanted to make a stop in South Africa too. Maybe by then my VA business will make it so I can.

Well, it sounds like you might already have the experience and knowledge required to run your own business - it just needs to fit into the virtual realm now.

Read through the forum archives here to get started - marketing and networking are most important for you to get the word out there to prospective clients. Some of us write blogs with information on working in this industry, so I encourage you to read those too.
