Hi Shellye,

Congratulations on the launch of your new business with your husband. Sounds like a plan.

I quicky reviewed the LinkedIn link you provided and might I suggest that this be reviewed for a number of grammatic and spelling errors? I say this not to insult but if you plan to offer all-inclusive services, potential customers will look at such oversights and believe that attention to detail is not a priority.

Also the intro is written that you assist him and he assists you which may cause people to believe that no one is really an expert in what they do. Think about rewriting this important, descriptive section. It's the first thing LinkedIn customers see.

I would suggest that you pick a more specific target market.

If you read "The Wealthy Freelancer", the author explains why having a more specific target market actually helps to bring in more customers.

Congrats on your business. I am actually starting up with my son, he live in St. Louis and I live in Columbia, MO...He will mainly be in the office. We are stepping out on faith and know this will work this way. I used to live in Cedar Hill and miss Dallas A LOT!!!!

Thanks for all the encouragement and great resources, Janine. I will definitely check it out!! We've been mostly successful with the web design, but that is more my husband than me. I'd like to focus more on business start-ups, the plan/design, etc. We're going to pull CO and new business lists from our local cities and target new businesses more than anything else.
