Default Newbie from North Yorkshire in the UK
Hello

I've just signed up on this forum.

I started my VA business 18 months ago which coincided with a move to the rural north of England from the hustle bustle South East.

Because of my rural location, any job for me would be at least an hour's commute. Having done that for many years, I decided to set myself up at home.

I have had many positions in large and small organisations - oil and gas industry, architects, land development and aviation.

18 months down the line, my business is really working well for me.

I look forward to meeting you all, virtually of course!

Regards

Jo Ellis

Hi Jo, welcome to the forums

I can really understand wanting to avoid the one hour commute each way..yikes! How wonderful that you can enjoy a nice, quiet rural lifestyle - go for walks in the country, etc. - between projects and client emails

Looking forward to chatting with you further!

Welcome. Don't blame you on not wanting to do the commute. It makes for a very long day.

Sounds exciting! I hope to do the same, working from home, and enjoying my family, rural land, fresh air, and farming.

Welcome!
