Default Newbie and excited!
Hello Everyone!

My name is Stacy. I am starting a VA business that will focus on Travel planning and Transcription for now. I look forward to using the other expertise! I eventually would like to add other services but will take it from there right now.

I am a full time medical student currently living in the sunny AZ --I am a born and raised Georgia Peach though

Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge so generously!

I look forward to getting to know you more.

Stacy

Hi there Stacy,

And a warm welcome from a fellow Newbie! My name is Myrthe and I'm based in the UK. I am in the process of starting my VA business and have spent most of today on this website soaking up all the information.

I look forward to reading about your milestones as an entrepreneur.

Good luck,

Thank you Myrthe! I can't wait. Great these forums exist so that we can watch each other's business growth. I've been searching all day too and still haven't put a dent in the amount of info on this site

I know exactly what you mean. It's give me lots to think about. I'm very curious to find out what source of information the 50 posts will unlock... I might have to pull an all-nighter to find out,

Do you know yet what your next step is going to be?

Me too. I will take some time for me to get there but hey can't wait! Rewards are great. My next step is to finish my website.. I hit a bit of writer's block but it is almost complete.

I need to open my social media accounts .. at least twitter and linkedin. Then I will be set to start marketing.

I do need to get my business plan on paper as well.

What about you?

Morning Stacy,

Wow 23 posts, well done you ;-)

I am still undecided on the business name, am looking to get more feedback this week before I buy any domains. Ideally, I would use my own name but I am Dutch originally and I don't want to put anyone off with an unpronounceable business name! Moneypenny is my nickname from my first PA job and seems to tick all the boxes, but I'm not sure it's 'business-like' enough. One moment I love it, the next I think it's too frivolous. What do you think?

So, apart from deciding on the name I have everything else to do too! Business plan, website + email, facebook etc... Can't wait to have it all sorted so I can start marketing the business! I'm not a huge fan of social media but I got a feeling that is all going to chance...

Speak soon,

Well Myrthe! Seems like found the right forum in the perfect time Post it on the forums (as I am sure you were going to do) and we all will help give you insight. Sounds like we are building our businesses in parallel... we can do it! So maybe we can hold each other a bit accountable What do you feel you can reasonably have done in a week?

Me: I will say ... my website will be done in a week from Wednesday (I have two exams to get out the way 1st.

Welcome from one newbie to another (well, new to the board anyway). Best of luck in your new biz and keep that enthusiasm, it works wonders and (best part) it's contagious!
