Hello from Delaware!

My name is Sedina and I'm new to the Virtual Assistant world.

A little bit about me: I'm a single mom with a 7yr old son. I currently work part time as an Office Manager for an Insurance Company and also have my license to sell insurance as well.

I've been kicking the idea to start my own home business around for a few years now and decided to bit the bullet and do it this year. The main reason was that I wanted something to supplement and eventually replace my income while allowing me to be home when my son got in from school.

I have 15+ years in the Administrative field and although I haven't found my niche, I'm really looking forward to starting my home business.

This is a great place for ideas and help of all kinds. I've been going since May/June this year but have only recently found my niche, which incidentally was right under my nose all the time! Personally, I got going on setting myself up with the basics whilst always keeping in mind what my niche might be, but without beating myself up about it.

Hello and welcome to the forums Sedina

I can totally relate to wanting to be home with the family - it's a wonderful thing to be able to be with my two year old daughter all day, every day while still growing a business.

The transition you're aiming for has been approached successfully by many, many members here so you're in great company and I have no doubt that with determination, you can make it happen for yourself as well!
