Default New VA in the Midwest
Hi Everyone,

I am new to being a Va and would like a little help getting started. My background is in executive administrative assistant for 15 years and customer service for 10 years. I'm a mom of 3 children and have been staying home for a while now. My youngest is starting school and I'll now have a lot of free time on my hands. I'd like to go back to work but from my home thus me looking to become a VA full time. I've had some free lance projects but nothing full time. My question is this, are there any programs to help me get started and guide me along the way while I get started? Any help or ideas would be appreciated. This looks like a great place to find a lot of info and help.

Nicole D.

Hi Nicole, welcome to the forums.
There are plenty of training programs for VAs, although I've never personally found a need for any of them so can't speak to those specifically. Check out the section of the forums where members offer their own experiences with various industry training programs and sites for more info.

And of course, feel free to jump in to the forums with your own questions and comments!

I'll look forward to learning more about you and your business goals

Hi and welcome from another Midwesterner. I don't have an opinion or experience with any VA training programs, I just did a lot of research collecting info from various places. This forum is a great place to find most of what you need.
