Hello everyone. My name is Alicia and I have just launched my Virtual Assistance business, A Grand Assistant, after leaving a position at an Office Business Center at the beginning of this month. This site has been a tremendous source of information and inspiration.
I decided to become a Virtual Assistant because it combines my years of Administration with my artistic abilities. I appreciate using well-designed forms and documents, so with my Graphic Design knowledge, I would like to contribute to how they are used and made. And I enjoy helping people with their work and showing them a different approach to everyday business tasks. It also helps to understand a lot of the business approaches when dealing with your works of art.

I am based in Brooklyn, NY but I am a world-wide traveler. My family is from Chile and I have lived there as well as in Florence, Italy. I enjoy meeting people from other countries and making connections, because you never know where roads may take you. I would love to get a project from someone on the other side of the globe.
As of now, I don't have questions, because looking through the forum Q and A's, so many have been answered. Its truly appreciated all the hard work everyone has done and I hope I can contribute as soon as possible.
