Welcome to the Virtual Assistant Forums. I hope you get a lot out of the website, just as I am. I am new to the business too. I just started researching to start my own business. I wish you all the best luck.

I really don't want my own business - I'm retired, drawing Social Security, and only can work 8-16 hours a week without disturbing my SS draw. I'm NOT a patient researcher, and all these sites are overwhelming.

Oh I know these websites are alittle overwhelming. Sometimes I come off here and my head is spinning!
I too was trying to just do assisting jobs but I had a really difficult time find some. I don't know if it is because of my somewhat lack of experience or my extended leave of adsence between my last employment.
But I do wish you the best of luck.
Luck that I didn't have...

Hi Emmy, while I can understand what it is you're looking for I'd suggest then that you seek out a freelance site or similar. A virtual assistant is a business owner not an employee and all of the information provided here is in support of a means to that end.
Best of luck in all that you do!

hmmmmmmmmmmm - I've seen sites that offer 'virtual assistants jobs' - even providing lists of available positions.

Maybe THIS particular forum site isn't where I'll find answers...........is that what you mean?
