Hello,

My name is Brenda. I am 34 years old full time Mom. With all of my children in school full time, I've decided to get back in the work force.

I have considered a career outside of my home but I felt with my bad back, it would be best to work at home where I can allow myself work on my own pace. I looked into VA and thought it would be just perfect for me. So here I am!

I stumpled into this forum over the weekend and felt it was a perfect place to go to for information, guides and support!

I also begun recently a web design business so I will be merging that with my VA service as well.

I have noticed when I shared my desires in VA goals with others, they are clueless about it and wasn't too "sure" if it would be successful. So it's nice to be able to come here and discuss it with others who understands

I look forward to getting to know you and become a regular member here.

Hi Brenda, welcome to the forums!

Sounds like you have a lot of great things going on in your business development - that is so great!

My own practice is in combination with a custom design and programming service - you'll find it is an excellent 'package deal' for your virtual assistance clients - I don't have a single VA client who hasn't had us (my husband and I) either build them a site, a piece of software, or customize a blog, etc.

I'm also 34 but don't have any children yet (mine is on the way, due in August

) and I am truly looking forward to the challenge of being a mom with a business to manage - I have no doubt this forum will be my main source of industry support, and I hope you find it s for you as well!

Good luck with your business. It is lovely to come across someplace that is full of relevant information and also lots of support especially when one is starting out.
