Hello and thank you for the welcome! Like many other stay at home moms, I'm loking to do just that. Sooo very tired of going broke just trying to find the right one!! I suffer from fibromyalgia, so I'm really unable to help my husband with the finances. We have 2 sons in college at the same time so it is to say the least, a little difficult. I've been sick for years. I just started babysitting 2 days a week but for only 4 hrs. per day. That at least puts gas into our car! I have ALL kinds of time at home and literally LIVE on my computer.

Have you given any thought to who your target market would be or what you might call your business?

Hi Pam,

Welcome to our community! It seems as if you have all of the reasons to start your own VA Practice, now just allow that to motivate you to focus on building a great foundation for making it successful, which may take some time.

With all of the information on this forum, I suggest you start with our Master List for getting started, if you have not already read it. This is worth printing out and setting a time line to getting it done.

Don't hesitate to ask questions about your start, we are here to assist you. We're looking forward to your participation!

Welcome to the forum, I am also a new VA and there is so much information on here. Planning, planning and planning is the key. I did a business plan and I refer to it and update it all the time.
