Hello Everyone!

I am thrilled to become a part of such a dynamic group of people. Everyone here seems to be very knowledgeable, and well equipped with the skills I will need to establish a successful virtual business.

I am a single mother of one son, currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Becoming a virtual assistant and owning my own company has been my dream for quite some time. Now that the opportunity has presented itself, I am extremely grateful to have tools such as VAF to aide in my success.

I welcome any an all advice or suggestions you may have on the planning phase of the start up process. Specifically, a start-up check list would be greatly beneficial if anyone has one handy. Also, I'd love to learn of common mistakes I can avoid.

Again, I am excited be a new member of the VAF family! look forward to my time here with you all.

I'm sure you will find this site very, very resourceful! Your right, the VA's here are very knowledgeable as well. Here is a link to a Getting Started thread.

My suggestion would be, take your time and read over all the different threads -You will find all the information you could ever need and if you dont find it...feel free to post any questions you might have.
