Default New here ...
Hello from KY! I have been wanting to become a VA for a while now and my former job has helped me make the move by eliminating my position and making me unemployed. :-)

I'm not sure where to start, but I'm hoping to find the answers I need right here.

Look forward to "meeting" and talking with you all!

Heather

Actually, this forum is a great place to start. The information and support you will find here is phenomenal.

I've been away from being a VA for two years and am now just getting back into it. I came back to this forum to reacquaint myself.

congrats on your new life career! It will be well worth it and you will find everything you need here. VAF is awesome and is where i started begining of 2008 and now i have a successful multi va business servicing over 20-25 clients per month and working with over 10 contractors! Life is great but too darn busy!! I need an assistant.

Be prepared that you will have your good days and bad days feeling discouraged but never give up. I am glad i didn't and let me tell you I have had alot of bad days. It's part of the process.

Good luck and we are all hear for you.

Welcome. Isn't funny how one door opens, another one opens. Everything happens for a reason. You will find a lot of information here and a lot of people willing to answer questions.

Okay, I was just reading over that post. I must have been in a hurry. Obviously I was trying to say that when one door closes, another one opens.

Hdougherty

I am new and I was pondering the same questions as you so I researched the internet and paid a small sum of money to have some training which answered alot of my questions. I found Virtual Administration an excellent source for help and training. Just google the name.
