I am not official yet, not quite sure how to become official. I have chosen a name and I am in the process of applying for a business license, and getting the name registered. I am trying to come up with a mission statement, decide of services to offer and all that jazz.

Well, congratulations on making the decision to run your own business - it *is* exciting and carries with it a bit of anxiety, but when you find yourself working with that first ideal client and you realize you're absolutely in control of your hopes, dreams, and goals (not relying on anyone else to drive those forward to success!) all you'll feel is content and happy

Sounds like you're making good progress and know what needs to happen to get started. I literally invented my own VA practice out of thin air a little more than two years ago and have never once regretted it or looked back.
