New to the community

Greetings!

I, too, am new to the forums here, as well as to the VA community. I'm just getting my company off the ground, and am experiencing what is probably all of the typical anxieties, so I look forward to hearing any words of wisdom, encouragement and support that anyone might be willing to pass along! I'm happy to be here, and hopefully, will be able to give back as much as I receive.

Welcome. I'm new to this too. I started seriously researching becoming a VA about a week and a half ago. You will find this forum so helpful! I've checked out a couple other VA forums and always end up back here. This forum has not only answered so many of my questions - just by reading through the posts, but has provided me with info on things I never even thought about. I knew I wanted to start my own business, but this forum has given me the tools to turn that into a reality. I know you'll find it as helpful as I have.

Thanks for the great welcome! I'm currently working on all of the details of getting my business up and running. I'm going through a certification program, which is extremely helpful. I plan on officially launching the business after the first of the year, not to say that I wouldn't accept any work that came my way now. I've learned so much since I made the decision to go out on my own, and I'm really excited to jump in and get my feet wet, so to speak!
