Let Me Introduce Myself
Hi Everyone:
I am Starlene Joyner Burns of Another Choice Virtual Assistant Service. And I am located in Bowie Maryland.
My company is rather new, but I have been self-employed for more than 4 years. I was blessed to start a business that earned me an income while I looked for work. But to date, it is obvious that I am meant to be an entrepreneur. And that’s ok.
Since I had a word processing business back in the late 80s and with many years of administrative support experiences, and excellent skills; I decided to move ahead and start a virtual assistant business. This is totally different from my word processing business that drew one time projects.
So now I am out networking and learning as much as I can about the va business. However, I do know that all learning begins with the actual act of doing, making mistakes, and growing from those mistakes.
I had placed starting this business on hold for some years now. Sometimes I wish I had started it 4 years ago (before my other business). But as I was told in church yesterday, “it’s not too late.”
