Hello all from rainy England.

I have just recently decided to step forward and place myself out there as a virtual assistant.

A bit about myself:
I am married with 2 kids and 1 on the way. My husband is in the armed forces so we move about alot.

I am currently working part-time for a marketing company and I work from home when the kids are on holiday from school.

Although this is a great little job, I will have to leave soon to have my baby and shortly after we will be moving overseas again.

I have had such a hard time trying to find work that fits around my children here and abroad. I was in Germany for 5 years and could only secure a place in the local pre-school helping out.

I hope this career path will be better for me as I love working in an office environment.

I hope I can learn alot from this site and look forward to chatting to you all.

I can tell you that if you put in the hard work necessary to start and maintain the growth of your new business it can be the answer to all of the concerns you mentioned.

When I started my practice I was actually living and traveling in India, and remained there for a few years, growing my business the whole time with my clients located in the US and Canada. After a while, we moved to Iran, then Nepal, with travel to other countries in between. Now that we are in the States, I've had a child who is now two - and all along the business travels and grows with us.

It's not easy to start a small business, it's definitely hard work and takes consistent dedication to get it off the ground, but it's worth it!
