Its been a little over a year since I've been active in the VA world, and finally I'm back!
Since its been so long, I figure a new introduction is in order.
My name is Winston from Columbus, OH, and I have been a VA for roughly eleven years now.
I started working as a VA when my sister opened her daycare center. She asked me to help with her contracts, documents, invoices, etc. That's when I realized that this type of work is quite enjoyable for me. So I started my first company, S-M Office Solutions.
With S-M Office Solutions, I provided various services focusing on working with documents and document digitizing. I also worked as a transcriptionist for Tawnya Sutherland, as most of you may know is a big person in the VA industry.
After getting burned pretty badly by a VA I contracted to help with a very important client project, which I was doing to help another fellow VA, I decided it was time to take a hiatus and focus on building my personal life. My daytime job is as an analyst for the nation's largest health insurance company, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The company paid for me to move my office to my home, allowing me the opportunity to come back to the VA industry. So here I am!
I decided to rebuild my company with a new name and new focus, and now operate as PennWin Administrative Services. I'm so excited to be back in the Virtual Assistant world, and hope to get reacquainted with old friends, as well as make new ones!
