Greetings! I have been browsing here for a few weeks and have learned alot and been very impressed with the camaraderie on here. I am a virtual assistant wannabe. I am currently a legal assistant and have been for over 20 years. My hope and plan is to segue into a virtual career so that in about 4-5 years I can give up the commute, the grind, the office politics and big firm bureaucracy and work from home. I am looking at a proofreading/ editing/Author's assistant niche as these are my strengths and the type work I like best. I am spending quite a bit of time researching, reading books, and absorbing the wisdom of the folks on here. Thanks!
