Hello Everyone

My name is Amanda Dugas and I am re-staring a va business from about 4 years ago. I started up quick and fast, then fizzed out (I wasn't overly interested anyway). Life lesson learned!

I've just returned to the workforce after being a stay at home mom for 2 years ( have a 4 yr old and a 19 mo old).

I've been back to work for 3 months now, and have been unhappy the entire time. I've recently had several requests for freelance projects, one ongoing, but have had to turn them down to my employment. The offers keep coming in, so after discussion with my husband I've made my decision

I have decided to forgo the business name right now, and will be operating under my own name, because I already have the offers coming in. I already have forms/contracts in place, equipment, etc. So the biggest decision I have to make right now, is how to identify myself on business cards. I will start another thread on that in the appropriate category

Welcome back! That's great that you already have work coming in, especially so you can stay home with your little ones.

I also am wondering about the best things to do/have on a business card (I have mine designed but need help with a tag line), so I'll watch for your new thread!
