In my full-time working life I worked as a Marketing Assistant, Admin Asst., Exec. Secretary, PR Manager, etc etc. I've done work at home creating and maintaining websites with some minor focus on VA work. I'm changing gears and making VA the main thrust of my business and design as a side avenue.

Looking to network with other VAs.

Sounds like you know what you want and are ready to go for it - that's great. Have you set up your VA site yet? (With design experience I'm sure you've got something planned if you haven't already)

I'm also a designer, with a VA practice - though the two are fairly mutually exclusive for me at this point.

There's lots of great info here (and a great membership as well), but if you can't find something just post a thread and someone will surely pop in with the answer!

My VA site is still in the works but I've just added it to my siggie but it's not showing up for me yet. It's http://www.nowassistingyou.com. I've kept it quite simple.

My business, however, is not yet "officially" open. I'm aiming for mid September.
