Howdy from Alabama!

I'm new to the forum and so glad I found it! I'm a new VA from Huntsville, Alabama and just started my business this month. I've got 6+ years of administrative support, it's a field I enjoy and where I think my talents lay. Being able to offer my services as a VA is exactly what made the little light bulb go on for me and I realized that there really was a career out there that brought my personality, experience and likes all together and still let me be the boss. All of us know I'm sure how working for someone else can sometimes be super fustrating, espcially when you're underpaid!
As far as my business goes, I hope to eventually expand and add more VA's to it. I'm offering select on site services to local clients such as office organization, filing, inventory, event planning and seasonal decor. Being in the South and all, I think offering some local services well help get more local customers used to the idea of someone who isn't in their office 24/7 while still giving them some traditional face time.
I hope to learn lots here and be able to contribute as well.
