Hi Guys!

Just a quick email to introduce myself!

I am currently at the stage of just getting things together! I've thought of a company name which I'm happy with and my friend is helping me build a website!

I live in Crediton, Devon in the UK and plan to do my VA work in the evenings and weekends as I have a full time job as a Legal Secretary (mostly conveyancing). In this current financial climate I thought it wise to have something in place should my hours have to be cut!

What started off as something out of need has turned into something I'm really enjoying getting to grips with!!

I'll wager you'll be a thriving full-time VA before you know it - by choice, even if not by necessity. And what a good idea to ease yourself into it while still having the cushion of a full time job.

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you will find tons of information here to get you started.

As for your question of where to advertise, that depends on your target market and the services you are offering.

Also, take a look at the marketing/networking thread and this should give you a few ideas of where to start.

I was quite surprised to see how many countries we all come from. We really ought to call ourselves "VAs without boarders"!

I forgot to say that Crediton and Umberleigh are on the same railway line running from Barnstaple to Exeter. You will have some idea of what a lovely place I live in!
