Hi Everyone!
My name is Claire, and I've been a va for about two years now. It was just recently, tho, that I decided to "step it up", and truly try to attain my goals.
It finally

dawned on me how little I networked, and how valuable it is to do so. Talking to other va's satisfies the mind and the soul...
I hope to make some new friends here at the forum, learn some things (there's always room in my old brain), and generally just enjoy myself.
I worked in the corporate world for more years than I can count, and becoming a va was a jump from full-time corporate to full-time self-employment....and what a shock to the senses! Once I got over the fear in each stage (will I do it?....how will I do it?....when will I do it?....Oh! now I've done it!....What have I done???), I was able to really look at what a satisfying business this is, and realize I love the daily challenges and learning experiences.
Right now I'm a generalist, but I hope to find my niche at some point in the near future (that's in my new one-year plan). There are many great roads to take, so I'm just trying to soak it all up, and maybe one day soon I'll know what my niche is supposed to be.
Looking forward to connecting with many of you!
