Hi! My name is Lyn and I'm very new to all of this. I would like to start my own VA business so I'm here trying to learn as much as I can. I have 3 kids (2 of them are in school) so I wanted to work from home.

I look forward to learning from everyone.

Hi Lyn! Sounds like you were in the same boat I was in a couple of months ago. VAF has been a great..no FANTABLOUS resourse for me. I know that you will find everything you need to know right here. It will become an addicition...must be on VAF! LOL. I wish you all the luck and hope to hear more from you.

Welcome Lyn! I just found VAF last weekend. It has been an awesome resource for me too. I plan to attending the meet-up in Bolingbrook tomorrow. Hope you can join us. I'm excited to meet other people who are making this a reality. When I tell people that I'm starting my own business as a virtual assistant, their eyes glaze over a bit. Once I explain it to them, they start to get it, but still seem to be sceptical. I can't wait to talk to a whole group that already understands what I want to do.
