My name is Kim and I live in the metro Denver area. My previous career was as a paralegal. After I was laid off from my last job, I decided that I wanted to do something else and I had enjoyed the variety that the personal requests my bosses had given me were what I enjoyed the most. I'm also in law school, and didn't want to work full-time anymore.

So I set out to be a personal and business assistant. I've had a couple of pretty regular customers for the last 6 months, but some have now cut back on my hours and I decided to branch out a little more and try to research the VA world a little more. I definitely prefer working from home and on my own schedule.

I look forward to getting to know you all and learning from all you experts!

Thanks for the great welcome! I actually live in Aurora also, but since I'm in school at DU and I practically spend the night there sometimes, I'm in both.

I will take VA paralegal positions, but don't plan to limit myself to them. Only two of my recent clients were lawyers, and only one of them had me do legal work for them.

I think I'm mostly going to read, and read some more. Right now I don't even know what questions to ask!
