Hi everyone. I'm really looking forward to getting to know people and using the great resources on this forum as I launch my VA business. I'm still in the planning and beginning-to-implement stages. I plan to focus on the author market, but also can offer more generic services. I've chosen the name for my company and have a meeting with an accountant tomorrow to begin some of the official processes.

I'm a mom and have been home with my daughter since she was born almost 11 months ago. I'm ready to start earning money again, but not to go back to my former job as an engineer.

Thanks for the welcome. I was at the meeting this morning and have returned home all fired up.
There were only 6 of us there and 2 of them I've swapped email addresses with, as they are may be looking for help when they start up with the admin side of things so that they can concentrate on promoting their business.
I just need to sort my business plan today, decide who will host my website and then get on with designing that. Then .. it's search for that elusive first client
