Hi Marcya! Its funny you say it that way... I was lurking around for some time too and everyone is so friendly and helpful that I just come here first for opinions any time I need help with anything. Ive been here for 2 weeks and I love it. In this type of journey its super important to have a supportive team. Welcome!

A little about me- I come from a retail management background, but I'm incredibly passionate about art, food and social media. My goal is to help creative individuals and small businesses create an online presence while getting to know people who inspire me, as artists do. I have 2 dogs and 3 chinchillas. My business is young, and I still have a full time day job, but I'm hoping that will change very, very soon.

Yes, I admit I am an observer and I have been more active with the LinkedIn forums which is how I found this one.

Retail is tough and I commend you. I have an eclectic background. Years ago I did go to school and receive a certificate in Career Secretarial. I then became a legal secretary. After my second son was born I got into childcare and the organization of it. I then went for a change and began working at Books-A-Million. I have a passion for books but unfortunately they closed the stores here. I have a year left to receive my BS in Communication and Technology but I want to combine all of my skills to the writer and small business owner.

I have been reading the E-Myth Revisited plus using Become a Virtual Assistant to develop my business plan as well as working on my website. I have 1 dog and 3 boys (25, 17, 16).
