Hi my fellow VA's! I am so excited to start my VA business, which is coming along a bit slower than I expected. I am working a full-time job and I do have an obsession with the gym plus a family leaves very little time for my business. I am coming to grips with the changes I need to make if I want this to work.
I have started a website and I am gathering so much information. I hope to eventually be able to quit my job and work exclusively from home. I am a bit nervous about getting started (as I've seen from a number of posts, I'm not the only one) and thanks to your posts, I've learned that my feelings of doubt are normal. I am looking forward to all the insight the members here can provide and making some new friends!

I definitely know what you mean - I work full time then when you add in the time getting everyone ready in the morning (I have a 2 yr old and a 3 yr old), plus commute time to day care before work and from day care after work there just doesn't seem to be much day left (especially when you still have to cook and clean on top of that!) so things are just kind of slowly moving along for me as well. But I guess little progress day by day is better than no progress! My husband has been great help with the kids while I get everything set up - I'm glad to have his help and support
This forum has definitely helped me move my business along and given me great ideas. I don't think I would be as far along with everything as I am now without the help of the wonderful people here.
