Hello up n coming new REVA from Michigan
Hello,

My name is Tricia, I have seriously been thinking about starting my own REVA business however; I do currently have a full time position at a real estate company so I'm scared to quit and kick off my business because we need my income. I have so many questions and no one to ask, Anyone willing to let me pick their brain a little??? I think that this could be huge for my family and I. I'm so excited that I can't eat or sleep!! I think could suceed but.......My biggest problem is I don't blogg or have marketing skills. I need advise please. I have questions on what software do you use to keep yourself organized? Is there a program out there that lets you start a task, time it and invoice it? How do agents order tasks to be done from you? Through email? Then do you set it up as a task? Can the agent go to the site to check on what you are working on for them? How should I charge? How do you have access to your local MLS board and only be an admin? Ugh..I have many many more questions. It seems everyone wants MONEY to brain pick and with Christmas coming that's something I don't have. I would really appreicate help.

THANKS!!!

Also, I'm working on a name for my business, want to know what you think about including your actual name? I'm a well know real estate assistant and I think including my name as an eye catcher would help? Any name suggestion would be greatly appcreiated I have asked family memebers what they thought, haven't gotten any good ideas.

Obviously from my name of my business, I have no problem with using your name. There are draw backs but if your name has a good reputation in your business world, I'd say it is a tool - use it.

I am sure you will have some feedback re your other questions from some of our VAF Real Estate experts re all your questions and concerns.

Good Luck!

Hi Tricia, welcome to VAF!
I think you'll find some good starter information specifically related to the REVA industry in the Real Estate Virtual Assistant forum here on VAF.

You'll also find many answers to startup questions by using the SEARCH feature in the main menu (top of the site to the right).

Don't be shy about posting your individual questions to the appropriate forums here - there are many helpful VAs on the boards, and you'll get more responses, as well as specific responses by posting individual questions one at a time.

Wishing you much success!

You will find the answers to all of your questions here on VAF. I recommend getting a notebook, create section tabs, and start collecting the info in there on startup. We will be glad to answer any basic questions you have about starting your VA biz that you can't find here.
