Hello everyone ,

I'm a newbie to this forum. I started my VA business a little over a year ago, but I wasn't doing much with it, just working for one or two client here and there. Now, as of a month ago, I've decided to take a go at it on a full-time basis, which is really causing me to get out of my comfort zone in regards to marketing. I found this forum by visiting one of my known fellow VA's websites, so now that I've lurked around a bit, I decided to join. I look forward to chatting with all of you.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you came out of hiding Where about are you located in Texas? Is the weather there still gorgeous (I have family there and heard it was in the 80s last week)?

I am in Missouri City / Houston area and yes we have had wonderful beautiful weather ever since Hurricane Ike came through. I think we may have had three or four rainy days, which includes today. The temp has been in the mid 60's to low 80's. It is wonderful!
As for my niche, currently I'm just doing general administration, but I'm working on a niche here locally for Mortgage Brokers to offer them general administration with loan processing services. You see I am also a Texas Licensed Loan Officer but I'm not big in that market. Doing my VA business is what really makes me happy and if I can combine the two, I can still put my licenses to work for me.
I am grateful to be here and I look forward to talking with you all.
By the way, I didn't read it anywhere, but does the forum have a logo available for us to use on our websites as one of our affiliates?

Welcome to forums. We wish you lots of luck as you venture into your business full time. I know what you mean about being outside of your comfort zone when it comes to marketing. It takes practice for sure as well as for networking. There's lots of good advice here when it comes to marketing or networking though.
