Hi Safire,
I established my VA business just over 3 months ago and have been managing it part time while still holding my full time job. I've secured a few clients through my local Chamber of Commerce (excellent networking) and some groups that I belong to on LinkedIn. As time goes on I will continue to market my services in to other targeted and local industries as well. It's an exciting venture and I hope to have the opportunity to make it a full time business after about a year or two. I firmly believe you'll ultimately get out of it what you put into it.

I'm new too and I am starting off at nights and weekends. You may want to go to some job bidding websites and bid on jobs you know you could do at night. Thats what I did and I am finding it easy to fit in a few hours work each week at nights and weekends.

My hope is to go FT and leave my day job! hahah

Noted you said something re expensive website - don't have to be. Go to mine and see if you like it. I have absolutely no experience with websites but did this on my own - and didn't spend a long time doing it. 24/7 customer services too!
