Default Hello from North East England
Hello everyone.

My name is Sue and I am hoping to become a VA very soon. I am currently working full time and hope to start my VA work as a '5 to 9er', after work and at weekends. I cannot afford to give up my full time job at the moment and would like to do both for a little while until I am sure that I can support myself full time as a VA.

I am married with 2 kids and would love to have more flexibility in my working hours so that I can do school runs and attend school assemblies etc. Hopefully becoming a VA will not only give me this freedom but will also fulfill my dream of being my own boss.

I am really looking forward to taking part in this forum and have already seen loads of threads that I want to read.

Hi Sue - you will quickly get lost amongst all the great and useful threads here!

I'm also sticking to being employed for the time being, although part-time, in order for there to be some sort of regular income whilst things get going. I'm currently going to a lot of networking meetings and recommend you go to some of these if you can; a lot of them are from 7-9am so you could perhaps get to work a little bit late occasionally?

Good luck!
