Hi everyone,

I have been poking around the web looking at what opportunities may be available for remote admin work. And fortunately I found you guys!

I am a stay at home mom with two little girls and a few years admin experience. I would love to do some work when my kids are occupied.

My biggest question is -- which companies are legitimate? Can anyone recommend a reputable company to start with?
What do you guys think of virtualassistant.com?
The site seems a little sparse.

I can't help w/legit companies as I haven't had any experience. But, welcome to the forum!

I popped over to virtualassistant.com and it's a "domain for sale" page ?!?

There are several companies that I have heard of:
A Clayton's Secretary
Virtual Dynamos
Cybertary
Team Double Click

I can't speak to what I actually "know" about them, I have just "heard and/or saw" their names around the virtual town and that they may be virtual staffing companies. I think Team Double Click requires a non-compete...not sure though.

Hi Janine, yep, there's no company there, just a domain for sale page - likely a pricey domain at that. I think perhaps you meant virtualassistants.com??

I also don't have any personal experience with agencies so can't speak to any or all one way or another but there's a conversation on this very topic right here that might interest you.

My experience with Team Double Click was not great.. Their service wasn't top notch. Other than that, I don't have experience with company's. My advice would be to go through the forum..

There is a lot of information here, to help you get started. I wish I had had in it in the beginning.
