Good morning, my name is India and I'm an aspiring VA.

I'm married with 3 kids: A 15 year old girl, 14 year old boy and 4 year old boy (He kind of squeezed his way in at the last minute!)

I've been a legal secretary for 17 years and was laid off last year. I remember telling my supervisor at the time I started, that I wanted to have my own business when she asked me where I saw myself in the future. I've always wanted to be in control of what, where and how I made a living. Since I was laid off, I thought this is my time to do what's best for me, which would mean me being the best for my family.

Honestly, I find it a little scary after being dependent on the 'big boss' but I'm ready to take the plunge! I know that there's so much to do out there that I probably never imagined. Here I go!
