Hi Everyone,
I hope this finds you all in the holiday spirit. I, like so many others, am just starting down this Virtual Assistant path. It's nice to know that there is so much support available to us newbies. I have decided on a name, but I think that is about all. Everything else seems to be in flux right now. I'm working on a website, but only have a "coming soon" page posted. If you drop by, let's say after the New Year, and you still see that page up, feel free to give me a virtual kick in the arse, right here in the open forums, to get me moving.

My main skill set lies in web design. I'm still undecided as to what niche I want to pursue. The idea has come to me to provide my services to other VAs who would like to add web design to their portfolio. Sort of the VA's VA, if you will. I'm open to thoughts on that. I'm just kicking it around.

Anyway, everyone enjoy yourselves with friends and family this holiday weekend.

It sounds like you have a plan AND a niche!!! You are also very positive, and that attitude will drive you to sure success!

Of course, if you are a web designer, we will expect great things from your website. The best advise I can give you is this: JUST DO IT!! Do something EVERY SINGLE DAY for your business, especially when you don't feel like it. I guarantee you will accomplish something and you will end the day feeling good.

I encourage you to visit other VAs websites and explore as much of this forum as you can. Start interacting with other VAs and you will start to find yourself addicted to your business.

Wow, we think kind of alike as far as names go, don't ya think? I'm so retro, it scares me sometimes. Hopefully, I'll be able to pull that off in the new site I'm working on. I also joined IVAA and am having a great time bouncing between these two forums. I must keep telling myself I've got work to do. Timers are great for that. I give myself an "official" hour to network in the morning. Of course, extra creeps in through the day

You are so right in giving me the "Just Do It" business. Are you a mind reader? My new mantras that I just put up on my vision board are:
It's good enough, now move on!
Better done than perfect!!
Just launch the dang thing!!!
