I have been lurking since July and I thought it was time I introduced myself. My name is Wendy and I am currently a School Secretary. During my summer break I started looking into starting my own business at home. I had no idea what I wanted to do so I did some research and I realized that becoming a VA seemed like the best fit for me. I am excited, nervous and confused about starting a business, so I am glad I found this forum. I have learned so much in the months that I have been visiting this forum. I am so grateful for all of the input, ideas and knowledge shared on this forum. I look forward to learning more about the business everyday.

With your school secretary experience, have you thought of applying to the virtual schools that are popping up around the country?

Thank you for the warm welcome. I love the fact that everyone here is so friendly and willing to help. My business name is "Victory Work Solutions" I am still working on a tagline. I don't even know where to begin for a logo. I have been taking it very slow because I need to learn so much and I don't want to get overwhelmed. I would like to launch in the spring of 2009. I figure that by then I will have my business plan done, my website up and running and my company registered with the city, state and feds. Wow! I have a lot to do before I can even get my first client but I know it will be worth it.

I'm still a newbie. I've progressed to having my website and am now starting the advertising part of the business and awaiting that first elusive customer!!!
