Default Hello All from the St. Louis Metro Area
I'm on the Illinois side of the river, near Scott Air Force Base. I am a single mom of four great kids and 2 calicos! I work full-time at a job where I don't even make enough to pay for gas and my household bills (rent, gas, lights, water, cable, phone)...but gotta do something I guess. I have a great guy in my life, who is very understanding and supportive of me - in everything except my business. It's completely my fault though, everyone around me feels this way. I talk about and plan - and plan - and plan - and come up with GREAT ideas - and plan - and plan.... You get the idea. I just never fully launch anything. Well this j.o.b. of mine has officially now convinced me that either I get my business planned and launched SOON (can someone say Ready, Fire, Aim?) or I stay being miserable and underpaid as someone's employee the rest of my life.
So, I am ready to put my travel, customer service, and administrative services to good use - for my OWN business! So, effective immediately, the re-launch of StarrDom has begun! My budget is smaller than it was before, so the website and business cards and things of that nature are really gonna take some sacrifice. IT'S WORTH IT!

Thanks for reading! I look forward to great contributions to this forum!

Kima-Shai Rose

Welcome Kima-Shai,

It's always good to plan and have a positive outlook on ways to make money, Good job keeping that mindset! I've been there.. just got through that and reintroduced myself to the VAF because I too started and got overwhelmed to where I couldn't pull through. It's ok. A great friend that has helped me stay on task is another VA in this Forum, she's helped motivate me a lot even when I thought my business was going no where. So meeting other VA's, getting involved in conversations, and making a point to say at least one post a day will definitely help you stay on task. Good luck with your business and stay focused
