Hi all! My name is Sharon Lawrence. I have been doing the work of a VA for over 20 years and decided to cut out the middleman.

I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with my husband of 26 years and our five kids.

My "specialty" is that I am a virtual bankruptcy assistant. I prepare bankruptcy petitions for attorneys (both chapter 7 and 13) freeing up the attorney to grow his business. I help attorneys work smarter not harder.

I hope to turn my practice into my full-time dream job and become a multi-VA business.

I am glad I joined this forum because it is filled with wonderful VAs willing to share their years of experience and advice for those looking to enter the field.

So, I'll see you all on the boards and I'm glad to be here.

HI Sharon,
I am new to VA, but I am very interested. Looking to eventually leave my full time outside saleswoman gig and work for #1. Sounds great, right?
I am outside of Chicago about 35 miles west. My oldest (daughter) graduated from Carroll College (now University) recently and just started a full time position with Devry in Waukesha.
We spent plenty of time in Milwaukee and love the city! There is a great Oktoberfest every September in Glendale, you have got to go! The food and authentic dancers in full costume are awesome.
