Greetings from Northern California East Bay Area!
Hello everyone,
I am excited on becoming a virtual assistant and look forward to becoming acclimated with the industry. I have been an EA to C-level executives and partners for a little over 25 years now and a patent litigation secretary for 4 years.
I have always had some type of home-based business (Prepaid Legal, Mary Kay, Avon, Warm Spirit, etc.) while working a fulltime job.
I was laid off in this very bad economy in 2009 and have been very actively interviewing and working temp assignments every since.
I have always wanted to officially earn an income from home but didn't quite know how to do so. Then recently, my husband told me to "think outside the box" and I decided to start a business marketing my current skills to local business professionals in my area. Then I stumbled upon the virtual assistant world.
I am looking forward to being a part of this forum and becoming educated on this rising industry.
