I had no idea setting up would be so involved, but I believe it will be worth it in the long run. I'm looking forward to doing the things I enjoy most.

Hope you don't mind if I pick your brains from time to time.
Welcome aboard! You have chosen the right place for support and information. I am still a cube farm dweller, with big plans to get "out of Dodge" and establish my own VA business. Best of luck to you in your business.

Thanks for the welcome, everybody. Well, we're getting close. Almost got the webpage done, got the EIN and the NC secretary of state's official blessing. It's certainly a gift from God to have a paralegal husband who knows all the ropes of starting a business.

Your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Monday I hope to find out whether we've landed our first client.

Tina Marie, at this point I'm unable to pm you. But YES, I'd really appreciate your help in those paralegal contacts! My husband specializes in traditional transactions; the real estate, etc. is being offered only to sole practitioners and small firms. As you probably know, there is a fine line between administrative functions and upl.

Yes, please pm me with that info.
