My name is Jennifer Stewart and I am relatively new to the VA industry. I have 11 years experience as an administrative professional (mostly in the power engineering industry) and I truly love helping others succeed. I began my practice in late 2007 after leaving the corporate arena. Currently I am back in a j.o.b. to make ends meet (only for the meantime) and am looking for ways to transition into becoming a full-time VA/business owner. I look forward to participating in the forums to learn and share as much information as I can. Jennifer

I'm in Merriam (OP, Shawnee Mission - you know how all the suburbs run together here. It's hard to tell what city you're actually in!) It's nice to find someone local to connect with. I have excellent administrative skills, but I still have a lot to learn about running a business, but it's exciting. I have yet to retain my first "real" client, so I have been spending a lot of time on my business plan and model.
