I'm Francine. I have been in administrative work (accounting, customer service, desktop publishing, project management, and everything in between) for more than 25 years. Some of my experience has been for manufacturing companies and for myself working PT with local non-profit agencies and churches. I was recently downsized for the third time in my career and I'm ready to do it on my own and full time.

I'm looking for all the information I can get and this forum looks like the place to get it. My company name is Lend a Hand Virtual Partner. I've secured my domain name and started building my website. I've also got my EIN# and will complete my LLC paperwork by year end.

I'm also drafting my business plan and can use some input on that as well. Marketing will be the area I'll need the most help with. Any suggestions to a newbie are most welcome.

Downsized huh? The same happened to me almost 3 years ago. I haven't returned to "employee" status since. I'd been in the 'rat race' , so to speak, for over 25 years and figured enough was enough.

Between the forum archives and the daily forum activity, you should find answers to most if not all of your questions.
