Greetings from the southwest U.S.! I joined this forum a few months ago, got tied up in New Year's projects and finally seeing the light at the end of 3 month tunnel!

I have been a virtual assistant for nearly five years and I love the ever growing industry and technology advances to make our businesses grow and small businesses recognizing the benefits of VA's!

Hi Tess, I'll bet you got lots of sunshine yesterday! I live north of Las Vegas about one hour. I am not a big city person so my residence in Mesquite allows me to 'visit' Las Vegas like other tourists for special events and concerts!

I hope you enjoyed your stay here, do you come to Vegas often?

It was gorgeous! We're about two hours away in Bullhead City, AZ (just here for a six month winter visit) and we go to Vegas about once a month-ish - our temporary midwife is there so we go for prenatals, sushi, and *shopping*!!

We prefer the smaller town atmosphere as well, although I will say Bullhead is a bit *too* small for my taste! It's been a good place to visit though - we're ready for our upcoming move to Washington State (35 days to go LOL)

Wow! What a coincidence! I was in Bullhead City last Friday! I had never been to Laughlin so we went down there for the one day tour and then came home the same day/evening. I don't know that we got much of a tour of Bullhead City as we only went across the river and down that one street for a quick soda and back to the casinos to see what they were all about. I can't imagine what it must be like in Laughlin during the busy season as it was really getting crowded Friday evening, and it's only March!! However, I think you guys on that side of the river have the best of both worlds when you can cross back and forth to not be stuck in the traffic!

I think Washington would be a beautiful state to live in but wet! I've never been to Washington or Oregon. We drove from here to Reno, then over to San Francisco and up Coast Hwy 1 (what a nightmare!) to nearly Oregon and then came back. The beauty in the forrests up there is just breath-taking I think.

Congratulations on 5 yrs. It is lovely to see more established VAs joining the forum it gives me, as new VA, somthing to aspire to and I am sure most of the other newbies also.
