Default Excited VA
Hi my name is Laura and am curently living in Arizona. I am very excited about the prospect of starting a VA business and want to learn all I can about becoming a successful VA.

I am finishing my BS in Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship and am the main bread winner in my family. My goal is to take control of my career through my own business and still have time to spend with my family.

Hi Laura, welcome to the forums!
It is so exciting that you've made the decision to start your own virtual assistant practice. There's definitely lots of good information here and so many helpful VAs at all levels of business development to network and chat with.

Congrats on furthering your education and taking the first steps toward launching your new business.

Have you started brainstorming what services you'll offer, or what industries you'll market to?

Laura,

We're in the same boat. I'm also my family's primary breadwinner and just started my practice last month. Hope we can encourage each other. Good luck!

Hi and welcome! Congrats on finishing up your degree! I am also looking into going back to school! If you are attending online, I could use a few pointers on some recommendations!

Hi Laura! Congrats on finishing your degree - I worked on mine part time for over 5 years while working full-time days, and the feeling of accomplishment when you're done is amazing! Congratulations also on starting your VA business. I'm a newbie too, still trying to establish my business, and the members of this forum have been a great source of information and motivation. Welcome to the group!
