I noticed your niche, it's very interesting - great job pinning that down early on. Many new virtual assistant businesses struggle with that for a while, so you're ahead of the game because you know exactly who you want to work with.

I chose my niche because over the past few years, my husband and I have become lovers of bike riding, particularly long touring rides (had to bail on a ride from Chicago to Michigan this weekend because he threw his back out :-p) - it just seemed like the perfect fit - most of all because it excited me!

I would like to work with bike shops, organizations, and leagues, and fellow riders who own small businesses or need personal assistance. I hope to be able to use the contacts I make on our various rides to boost my business and the contacts I make through the business to expand my biking horizons.

I'm still digging to define those particular services which may be "unique" to supporting cyclists - initially I'm developing the business based upon my previous experience operating a tiny cottage industry out of my home and struggling to find time to take care of all those non-core activities! That's really where the "Unchained" in my biz name comes from - freeing others from administrative burdens - though it fits very nicely with my niche as well :-)
