Was very excited to come across this forum, and its nice to see its a warm community around here. I'm originally from Scotland, UK, but moved over to California a few years ago, and i LOVE it!
I recently left my job where i worked from home, got the addiction and now want to start the journey to work for myself at home instead of someone else. I'm interested in law enforcement and languages and working on a degree on those subjects, so would be great to do something with that.

I am about 10 miles from Newcastle. My husband grew up in Scotland so we visit quite often. His family are from Fife and we go to Perthshire a lot too. We have been further west and drove from Perthshire to Glasgow then Ayr, Kirkudbright, before heading east and home. I'd move up to Scotland given half a chance. What made you move to California? Slight climate change I would have thought!

Yes Farrow is my name, i had forgotten to put it on my signature on my first post! Anyway, its crazy how small the world it is, i grew up in Ayr, and went to school in my teenage years in Perth! So i know the area's well. I left for California to pursue a change of career in law enforcement, then i met my husband and it was game over! I do love the climate change, and yes i do miss UK occasionally. Scotland is beautiful, hopefully you'll make it up there someday
