Default Aspiring VA in London/UK
Hi all

My name is Isadora, I'm from Brazil and living in London for the past 6 years.

I quit my job last year after deciding I wanted a happier and more flexible life and since then I found out about the VA industry and have been doing a lot of research prior to starting out.

I'm not working at the moment so I'm a bit desperate to start , but I'm trying to absorb as much information as I can and trying not to rush into things.

I'm still a bit lost with the amount of information here and around and trying to figure out everything I should do before advertising my business and starting working.

I'm sure the forum will be a great resource for me and I hope to hear more from from both experienced VAs and newbies like me

See you around !!

Welcome Isadora. I'm also a newbie to the VA world. Netta-VA is right, people are very friendly and helpful on here. If you go in to your Settings (the gray bar at the top) you can add a signature line to your account so everybody will know your name when you post messages. Good luck with your new endeavor.

Hi Isadora, I am new here too. I am setting up in the North East and have found the free HMRC tax courses to be of great benefit. I also found lots of really helpful information on the Business Link website. It organised the steps to go through when setting up your business into easy to follow processes.

Regards

Sue

Hi Isadora,

Nice to see a fellow Brit on here! My name is Myrthe, I am originally from the Netherlands but have lived in the UK for what feels like a lifetime. I am in the process of starting my VA business (intentions: check, clients or website: nil) and so pleased to have found this forum!

Good luck with it all.
