Hi Jenn, congrats on getting your practice started!

I have a 21 month old and we do not use child care but my husband/business partner is home with us as well, which I realize is a major blessing.
There was a time when I thought about having someone come two or three days a week for four hours each time but in the end could not find someone that we really loved. I work in the a.m. usually when we first wake up she'll nurse for a really long time and I'll hold my laptop as well

. I also work during her nap, she only takes one, usually for about an hour and a half. If I am in a pinch and need to work on something WITH my husband and my daughter just won't be distracted by her own toys and books then I will let her watch a half hour of Kipper or Caillou, she also loves Arthur - we don't have TV in our house but there are a few shows on Netflix that she loves and sometimes all you need is those extra 30 minutes!
It's definitely a talent you'll develop for juggling!
I would say if you can find someone you really like to come into your home and help you then go for it.
