Mentor's

Please post if you are at capacity and with the mentee's VAF name.

This will help us know if you are available or full at this time.

Please also post if you will be Out of Service and for what length of time.

The post should begin with "Out of Service" then your VAF member ID. You may also leave the group, but if you do, please post that you will be leaving the group. You do not have to post why, but your old posts will stay on the boards and mentee's will contact you based on your last post.

If you are Out of Service this will let the mentee's know that they can not contact you for mentoring at this time.

Mentee's

Please contact a mentor when they have posted they are available. Make sure to read what the mentor requires of you in order to use their mentoring services. If it is not posted on the boards, your mentor will PM you with details on what they will need from you. It is up to you to contact a mentor and to receive mentoring services.

Not sure how to contact a mentor? Click on the mentors VAF ID, if you do not have enough posts to send a PM you can send an email to them by clicking on their Profile information tab and find their email address there.

Once you have been mentored please leave feedback for your mentor by clicking on the mentors VAF feedback link, this can be found by clicking on any thread a mentor has responded to or started, then click on the Submit Feedback for link, your feedback should be submitted as a client, the rating system will show you what is available and how to submit it.
