I met a client at a vending event. Our tables were in proximity and exchanged cards. I followed up by purchasing her product and out of that I discovered she needed administrative services; she acknowledged she was good at landing clients but not computer savvy nor did she have the desire to sit still long enough to become. I updated her mailing lists, prepared a form letter for potential clients and performed contact verification. Voila, a long term client for me!!!
